Hello! I promise I haven’t been avoiding my blog posts for the past month.  Ok, maybe I have.  But I DO promise that I have still been productive.  After spending a week up in Maine with family, both mine and my husband’s, I have plenty of inspiration to work from.  Though a self-portrait of my swimming alter-ego doesn’t link back to Maine directly, I loved doing this piece.  Maybe it’s my ever-present desire to do a sprint triathlon.  Maybe a series will come of this, me on a bike, me running.  On second thought, I don’t think anyone wants to see my hot mess after a run!  It’s a 18”x18” oil painting on canvas.   Oh, and my apologies for the © plastered over the image.  I’m just trying to protect my work on the internet. Thanks!
